Musical Miniatures

The saga of my flash continues. I could finally get it to fire, but not to get it to sync with the camera, so ended up with totally black or, occasionally, totally over-exposed images.  The only way to get a half decent image was to set it to shoot in AV mode, with just a fill-in flash. 

So that is the image you have for Carolinav's Tiny Tuesday Challenge of a tiny still life. All the 1/12th scale items come from my Doll's House collection. In particular, the old fashioned office chair was built by my late dad from a kit for mum's collection - look closely to see the tiny brass nails fitting the leather seat.

In the meantime, it's back to the drawing board and google searches to discover what I'm doing wrong!
