Flu

I took the jedi to the hospital last night and we were seen in a+e quite quickly. But he didn't get through to the kids ward till 1.30am and then they connected him up to a drip. It was so distressing for him when they put the canula in. But the paeds doctor and nurse in my collage were great. First time we've had that doc but I know the nurse and most of the kids ward nurses quite well. And they also understand the Jedi. He's nearly finished his 2nd bag of fluids and they changed his antibiotics.  One test came back with having the flu . 

Mr R has not long been up to see us and now he's away to take the bigger wildlings to macdonalds.  They're at nana and grandads house at the moment.  I've spoken to them on the phone a couple of times today and I've reminded Xander that he needs to finish his homework.  

The jedi has slept most of today. I had just over a hour last night. 

Hes had one bite of toast that was delivered at 8am and he's just taken one bite of it now. He's so wiped out. 

The doctor is wanting to out him on Tamflu which we're just waiting on the pharmacy sending it over. 

I'm glad I brought him up last night as he was really dehydrated and he's still so lethargic.  The fluids should kick in soon.
