Samuel Stone and Company

Sam was a puritan minister born in Hertford in 1602. He was also a co-founder of Hartford, Connecticut, USA. I don’t know if he chose to sail across the Atlantic or was transported for stealing a sheep, but he seems to have made quite a name for himself. Enough to warrant a bronze statue, anyway.
