The story of my life

Another day of cattle work. Headed next door to bring in the spring calving cows and calves. Shed the calves off and clipped their backs and gave them their pneumonia vaccine and a wormer dose . They were shut in a shed while the cows went back out to a field behind the cottages. It has electric fences around it so hopefully it will keep them in until the roar is off them and they forget about the calves, usually about 4-5 days.
Nipped away to the bank this afternoon then a quick trip to Tesco to get a card and some champagne for my niece’s 21st birthday present.
Came across this cartoon I must have cut out a farming magazine in 1991 while doing some cattle paperwork tonight. Still applies 33 years later !
