How does the snowman commute to work?

He rides his icicle.

Terrible.

I didn't manage to get any tinsel at work for my desk like I mentioned yesterday, as there is none left. I did remember I have a tiny light up Christmas tree that Carol got everyone last year though, so I can take that in tomorrow and give my desk a little bit of festivity.

I also decorated the living room this evening, not that we have many decorations. I have a small tree with little glittery skulls, a string with candy canes and other shiny bits on it, a snow globe with a snowman inside, and 6 of these little icicles. 

There's also an elf wearing an Arsenal top, but I've been told it's banned from the living room. Surprisingly, it's because of it's creepy face and not the Arsenal badge!

I hung this icicle from the lamp shade to get this shot with the light shining through it. All 6 are together now hanging from a shelf, and we're at the pub quiz.

We also got affected by the big power cuts today. Work was fine but the power at home was out for 8 hours, and a lot of stuff in the fridge has gone off.
