Beetroot tarte tatin

In desperation today’s bf is our evening meal, (with feta cheese on top). Earlier photos taken of cats proved to be of no use. Luckily it wasn’t egg and chips, although this is a meal high on the favourite list. 

A pleasant day of socialising with Boomerang and friends this morning and later taking part in planning the annual Christmas community meal. All good stuff on a wet day. Jack and kitten Ted are bonding, sadly not one reasonable photo, this evening Greyboy decided to give ‘friendly play’ a go, he was fine, for all his months of wandering he is a gentle cat.  My heart goes out to them for trying and a joy to see Jack playing up the kitten. 

Rory was out of sorts, looks like another cat attack, a limping leg earlier, with some grumbling if he thought I was too close.  Bg isn’t eating much, Jack was like this last week, the vet was undecided and now Jack is eating for two since the weekend. Could be kitten reaction, or a cat bug?  A lot going on with the new arrival and the return of the wanderer.
