The hottest Day in DE

Yesterday was the hottest day ( not complaining as I love the heat, only sharing this info ) in the nearly 9 years I've been living here. It was very humid as well.

Went to buy water the morning....as going through so much at the moment. Then the afternoon we had a braai. I found Turkey sausage and wanted to try them as something different with salad. Afterwards we popped down to the pool for 3 hours. It was hectic there, so many kids, teen and young adults jumping into the water from the sides, it was also very loud...:)
I have to say in general I am very impressed with the way the German people look after their bodies. I saw very little overweight people, most were is very good shape, even the older generation. What I did notice was the kids between 8 and 12...they were over weight for their age....I still mentioned it to hubby....the new generation eating too many process and take away foods. ( parents faults )
Got home and needed a snooze, think the weather being so humid exhausted me.
Had a shower....oh our shower door just burst and glass everywhere today as well. Hubby and I were outside having lunch when we heard this mighty crash indoors. I was so afraid of what I would find. Worrying about my computer of course....

The evening we went to visit a couple who work with Hubby and our friends who are retiring at the end of the month. Was a good evening....We sat outside till after 11pm as such good evening, never got cold at all.
