Eigiau Cottage

It was all my fault - once the destination had been mooted I fell for it and despite the wind - which you can’t see - and drizzle which you can - we were committed. I actually stayed in this mountaineering club hut almost 50 years ago with the UEA climbing club - to do some classic routes on the cliffs up the valley head. All I really remember is parking the van in the dark by the old dam and hiking up the last mile to the hut by headtorch! Still we enjoyed our picnic on the cottage doorstep and being up in the mountains.
