Biscuits.
I made the last batch of biscuits this morning, using up all the remaining dough. I reckon I made at least 6kg all together.
I aso put three trays of black olives in a very slow oven. They are supposed to dry out, become wrinkly and lose all of their very bitter taste.
Now to the serious stuff. I knew that their would be a concert at the Titch's school....
We arrived, S and I and there he
was...with his best mate, the Cello player, all friendly and face covered in spots.
His hair was cut very short. I was surprised as he has always been attached to his golden, curly mop.
He told us about how rugby is going and that he and his friend are now in the teen orchestra at
Santa Celilia. I knew already as I follow him closely, from a great distance.
How I enjoyed seeing his calm, peaceful pensive face.
When the orchestra played, I could see that he had a new, glittering oboe. Not new of course because they are wickedly expensive but a top quality used one.
So far, so good.
Thanks to those who stop to read.
