Pounding the pavements

Content London, the C21 scripted conference in Kings X.  There are lots of foreign buyers in town all meeting producers and distributors.  It’s grown and grown over the years, partly I’ve always thought because the Americans want to be in town to do Xmas shopping.   So I had a meeting at 9 with the director of a French festival, then back to Soho to meet Ben and German before going back to Kings X for lunch at Caravan with Waleed and Joana which was great fun. They were slightly bemused at finding themselves in the midst of people from the industry coming over to our table. But we had a couple of really useful encounters.  

Then I went to Chelsea to take a look at something and ended up sitting down in Anya’s Cafe and had a cup of tea and a cake with googly eyes.  See extra!  

Then to Annabels for dinner with visiting Americans Alan and Harlee which was actually great fun and went on into the early hours with us drinking Amaretto Sours in the bar.  Taxi back to Susannah’s at 1am.  What!
