Mini Monument...

I really didn't get the chance to photograph anything of note today as I had a puncture in one of the tyres of my new wheels to deal with. No spare tyre anymore. I did manage to get it back on the road to get home by using the emergency repair kit.

But my other half went out for a walk, so has let me use a photo he took...

From the top of here you have 360 views out over the Cheshire plain to Jodrell Bank, Cannock Chase to the south, into the The Peak District and even North Wales. This monument is much reduced in size. due to storm damage in 1976. It was built in 1850 and dedicated to John Wedgwood, a local coal mine owner.
