THE OUTLET

Not a great deal of snow yesterday but there was a 50mph (80kph) wind pushing it around.  The winds calmed somewhat overnight but most of the fallen snow was blown into large drifts........except here.  This is the out flow from Big Elkhart Lake running west into the Sheboygan Marsh.  Any snow landing in this water would immediately become part of the flow and not accumulate.

Cold this morning (12°F. / -11°C.) thanks to a brutal cold front that our Canadian friends to the north decided to share with us.  Perhaps Mr. Trudeau is retaliating for the 20-30% tariff Mr. Trump is threatening to place on all imported Canadian goods.  If Trump makes good on that threat I predict it will bite him in the ass down the line.  When Americans, who are already complaining about the cost of gas gasoline see the price at the pump rise 30% the Fit will hit the Shan.........if you know what I mean.

Hopefully he comes to his senses and realizes that threats are no way to treat allies.  But I wouldn't bet the farm.
