It was about to rain in torrents so the Weather App flashed up before I donned my outdoor gear on the lane. Yes it was very windy so they were right about that and I stood under some trees behind a wall the only foolish enough person to have done so probably in the whole of Gloucestershire.

I've got supper to prepare now but also have to get the rain catching, drip catching trugs and buckets out after having listened to the weather warning over us now and for the weekend.. I just hope with Hubs in the state he is, the water pump hasn't got to be used. Worst case scenario I could go next door if they are in and ask for help.

Finally this afternoon my car has been fixed. The glass went back in on Friday but the pump arm that lifts the hatch exploded in the guys face  when he was putting in the glass. He was ok thankfully and did me a freebie today on replacing the arm. What a sweetie.
