Botanical Art Assignment 2

This is a work in progress. I had started a leaf before but when I took a closer look at what I had done, although the overall effect look fine, I could see faults that I knew wouldn't be up to the strict standards needed. 

So here is my new attempt and, I hope, will be submitted as part one of five for the assignment.
