Tatoi

A nice rather wet walk in Tatoi, the grounds of the summer Palace and 10,000-acre estate of the former royal family, in the foothills of Mount Parnitha.
The buildings lay abandoned and decaying for decades, and the 2021 wildfires caused huge devastation to the once dense forest and some buildings., but now it is gradually being partially restored and converted into a museum, supposedly due to open next year .
