Christmas Trees

Monday morning, and back to work. The day started off quietly, but the pace fairly picked up as the day went on.

I popped out at lunchtime to pick up the package I couldn’t get on Thursday night. I was pleased to note that there are now crossing points in George Street. It was the back to a very busy afternoon. However I was determined that I would leave work at a sensible time tonight.

When I left the office, I could see my bus at the stop, and it was early. I ran to the bus stop, but the driver had already shut the door and he didn’t let me on. He left the stop two minutes early. I was not best pleased. I had half an hour to kill, so wandered into the St James Centre, where I picked up a couple of bargains in the BodyShop, and then purchased a jacket I don’t need, but liked. I’m pondering whether to keep it.

I eventually got home, and was still annoyed. At least my tea was almost ready. I then walked around the block to clear my head.
