I looked for somewhere to stop en route to Glossop today, and Claymills Victorian Pumping Station seemed interesting. 

It's absolutely fascinating, and I urge anyone who is in range or passing Burton-upon-Trent to make time for a visit. We were guided personally by Steven, one of the many knowledgeable volunteers. He's been involved for years and was able to describe so many of the machines that he had worked on. There are set dates when you can see the giant steam engines and pumps in operation - it takes some 5 days from lighting the boilers to being ready to use the engines, so these are special days.

My aim was to upload a blip with a shape but no size or connection.
