Corrachie, near Avoch on the Black Isle, with the Mount Eagle radio/TV mast in the distance (you may need to go large to see that). From an evening cycle to Rosemarkie. It was a tad blowy out, hence the blurred vegetation in some of the above snap. Was glad to be heading to the left, as that grey gloom looked to be about to issue a good soaking...
Heard from a neighbour that the Kessock bridge has re-opened - Hooray! Weeding the drive - sounds very grand. A patch of gravel about sums it up. The worst bit is still to be done. Also sawed-up most of a large pile of timber into fire-sized lengths. My neighbours, who don't have a fireplace, had a couple of tree surgeons cut down some large branches, and nobody else had a use for it. So a thank you to them.
