The Palace

We were awake early this morning, so rather than watch TV for a while we went for an early morning stroll while it was quiet. Parliament, Westminster Abbey, then down to Buckingham Palace, and back to our hotel via The Mall and Trafalgar Square.

Then a trip to Windsor Gardens - home of Yoda’s bestie - for the Paddington Bear Experience. Absolutely perfect for her age, with interactive activities, meeting the cast of characters and seeing the bear himself - she was star struck.

We followed that with a lunch with our three-month-old niece, a mistimed walk down Regent Street (in full Christmas shopping mode when we weren’t), back to our hotel before dinner, and ended the day on the carousel at the Christmas markets.
