Apache II heading out of the Cromarty Firth with, as I spotted later, a Bottlenose Dolphin riding the bow wave (you might just vaguely make it out in the large version). Taken from one of the old WW searchlight emplacements, on the South Sutor, that we climbed up to.
Beautiful calm sunny day, thankfully without being a scorcher. Had a paddle (i.e. sea kayak) from Cromarty up to Balintore and back. Was with a lass from Helensburgh who's visiting the area, and was looking for local kayakers to head out with. Had said there might be a chance of seeing dolphins - they were about for most of the day!
