Roots

A lovely bright morning…very pleasant walking..I was out just after 8:30 to make the most of the good weather, getting some miles in before storm Darragh arrives…by the look of it I shan’t be out much over the weekend.

This ‘shape’ caught my eye…part of an upturned tree root..my first thought was it looks like an animal head. Fascinating grain patterns catching the early sunlight with a nice blue sky behind.

Made a pot of mushroom soup for lunch…plenty left over for another day!
