Tree Creeper

I've never seen a tree creeper sitting on top of a branch before, just creeping up the trunk, so this is a first for me.  In fact it's looking vaguely uncomfortable I think, but I do love how well you can see what enormously long claws it has.  It was blipped on my way back from my reserve walk this morning and as you can see we've had a lovely day of sunshine.  Well, it's going to have to do us for the next two or three days when Storm Darragh will bring us nothing but wind and rain..

We now have a second ridgeback living with us for the weekend - three years old and very sweet, but not very house or crate trained which is a tad difficult.  Why oh why are there a few people in the world who think it's unimportant to house-train their dog?  Bonkers!
