We had a relatively quiet journey north and made good time. Waiting for me at home were the two photo books which I just finished at the last minute for a good deal a few days ago.

I am very pleased with them. Motif do such a class job of production. You can see how the two books are very different - one is mainly photos with the minimum of text, one is much more of a journal reminding us of things that happened along the way.

Sad that we are not in France at the moment, but glad to be safely at home with a storm building up outside. We did a little shopping on the way home so we are now staying put for the weekend - amber warning for wind. (They are waiting for very stormy weather in Cornwall.)
