Start of Day

Long text today, as image shows the start of Friday. Sorry about the delay . . . such a hectic day of decisions yesterday.
Finally got back to York . . .decisions again . . . leave now and go to Choir or go to watch R in his swimming lesson ?
R won, of course. Dreadful journey from the pool to home . . . downpours meant 3 deep floods on the way. Even had to drop K and R off down the road from their house as footpath access only . . . suppose R could have just swum it.
Bad floods on the way home . . . especially Hull Road in York and at the bottom of Golden Hill at Malton.
Finally arrived home at 8.45 . . . slumped down and watched the most magic TV programme. Mortimer & Whitehouse Christmas Fishing Special from 2020.
Seen it before . . . but if you want a relaxed laugh, catch up with this. Based around the Boro, it reminded me of times gone . . . simply of what life is all about . . . for me . . . so much pride to see the Boro and surrounding areas on TV . . . I know other places have their treasures, but I feel lucky to have experienced this area when growing up. . . and an appearance from Chris Rea was a real bonus.
Hope you all have a grand weekend ahead !
