Mossy

Leo was most put out to find a bit of moss residing on Fernando this morning.  I think a bird or the wind dislodged it from the garage roof right on to his back window.

Leo had a non pupil day and I took the day off as I felt like a long weekend after a busy few weeks.

Leo had a driving lesson first thing and then me Leo, Mum and Dad headed to the old Well for lunch.  I am still mourning my all time favourite chicken and ham platter.  It is still on the menu but has been rejigged and is not a patch on the original.

I got on with one of my hated chores in the afternoon - wrapping the Christmas presents.  I got the lot done apart from a few that are still winging their way to me via the postal system so it is nice to have that ticked off.

Leo had goalie training in the evening so we headed into Exeter in the wind and rain. I watched from the car as the weather was so bad and almost jumped  out of my skin when both mine and Leo’s phone blared out the severe weather warning.  The wind has been picking up so we will see how much damage Darragh brings.

Leo got his second soaking of the week. He was well and truly wet through to the skin this time.  He celebrated on the way home as he heard his match tomorrow was called off. He wasn’t up for a hat trick of soakings and a mud bath of a goalmouth.
