Looking east.

Lunchtime walk. Few folks around today. Cold but calm, quite low light. We had a nice walk at a favourite place. My wife seems so busy just now, it was good to be out together.

We enjoyed looking at the new spire of St Michael’s Parish Church, where our older grandson was baptised this time last year. The spire has undergone an expensive renovation for a year or more. This was the first time we saw it without scaffolding or it’s weather enclosure. I will take a photograph of it someday when the light is a bit better.

We got back home before the rain,
although I did have to venture out later to a local shop. A storm is forecast tonight and tomorrow.
