Old Black Isle railway line bridge #6, in the (random) series. This one is over Bishops Road in Fortrose. (The previous bridge - Bridge #5)
Despite the "Private" warning, you are allowed to walk under it, and if you do, you'll find there's a public footpath with steps on the right that will take up onto the old railway line. From there you can walk all the way through to Avoch. Wellies may be advisable if there has been a lot of recent rain. And probably best to park somewhere like the cathedral area, rather than on this road.
Camera back today - "unable to recreate the fault specified", and to be fair the camera does seem fine today. More testing required.
Cycled over towards Cromarty this evening. Did about thirty miles in all, on a fairly heavy bike. Was glad I'd put plenty air in the tyres prior to departure, and of a following wind on the return route.
