Advent

A long day... and one when I had toothache but managed to get an emergency dental appointment for tomorrow. A year of tooth problems continuing it seems. Started the day with Advent Eucharist in the cathedral - with the lighting of the first advent candle. Then a mix of lessons. Left promptly and headed for UEA in Norwich. Drove through terrible wet and windy weather but got there safe and on time. It was the RGS Eastern committee's Winter Social. This was held at the Sainsbury Centre - a great venue. Glass of champagne on arrival. Talks from Eugene Rae, the RGS' Librarian, and volunteers. Very tasty meal of sea bream, Out and home.
