Dark day

It's a dark day here in The Hague and not just weather-wise. This morning there has been news of an explosion in a block of apartments, not too far from this forest where I'm standing. A building is flattened and people are missing. News suggests 3 explosions were heard and the authorities are also putting out enquiries regarding a vehicle driving away at speed. Horrible to think that this may be deliberate but I guess that's just speculation at the moment.
People have been moved into shelters until it's safe to return.
Sometimes a walk in a calm space surrounded by nature hides you from the horrors of the outside world. Thinking of everyone involved.
