All quiet in the village!

Well Storm Darragh is still with us, I walked into the village this morning and again in the afternoon; have never seen such a quiet day for a long while.  Saturdays are normally very busy.  Trains, busses, ferries and flights all cancelled.

This photo was taken in the morning, I could have brightened the image, but that would misrepresent what I photographed.  Overlooking the roundabout, to the left is the road to Belfast and to the right the road to Comber.  The cream coloured terrance houses are built on the old railway track bed and behind them is the old orphanage.

The building to the extreme left is in danger of demolition due to subsidence at the back of the building, so I am glad to get images including it should it disappear.
