Good for Ducks

Having socialised on the staff xmas walk in the Peak District yesterday, it was back on the road to Northumberland. 

Brief stop at the famous Tebay Services for utterly delicious hand raised pies. The view from the table sums up the weather  - moody, very windy and wet. The ducks weren't too keen to be in the water at all.

An indulgent road trip, tonight we're booked into the Twice Brewed inn for a stargazing night. Sadly clouds arriving with storm Darragh mean that the chances of seeing shooting stars are far less than the transit of shooting trampolines.
