Unpicked

I went down to the courts to support my partner playing his individual departmental championship match which I later learned he lost. I only stayed for half an hour because we had an invitation for coffee and cake at our friends house in Py. We caught up with local news and gossip as there were quite a few there. Most of our friends are away at Christmas but we invited the hosts to lunch with us on Christmas Day if they have no other plans. I noticed all these unpicked apples in the orchard. I think our friends have more than they can cope with.
