Bitten

Three days ago whilst picking up leaves I was bitten/stung by a very large black fly. The pain lasted three hours then the itching commenced. This has been horrendous waking me during the night for two nights. The swelling then began. It has been many years since I have had such a reaction but I always keep anti-histamine tabs. to hand, although they will be out of date I hope they work.

The wind has been ferocious here at times so finished writing cards and then put up the Christmas tree.
