How not to welcome people!

A quick trip out this afternoon to make sure we didn't get caught in the threatening heavy showers took us to the village of Albourne. Outside the village pub opposite the green and duckpond was this Dalek. I'm not surprised no-one was sat at the tables!

We (generally) often welcome people, but maybe sometimes that welcome feels uncomfortable or even risky. Its a reminder to make sure our welcome is genuine, and sets people at ease rather than cause them to run for safety.
