Festive crafting
Well the wet and windy weather arrived today as forecast . Our plan for the day was to go to Wragby a small town about 12 miles away as they had a Christmas market on seeing as the one that Lincoln use to have was cancelled last year and the local council said it wouldn't hold one again as it got to big and popular.
Thankfully the organised of the Wragby market was not going to let the weather ruin their plans and most the stalls was put inside in the town hall and another big building which was good news. We travelled over there just as the rain started to fall again and managed to park close to the area where it was been held. Rather packed in the buildings but nice to enjoy a walk around and Julie spent some cash with local traders . When we was leaving I grabbed some shots on my mobile of some lovely bollard toppers and a post-box topper all great handwork by local people , I have made a collage out of some of the shots and have included an extra of a lovely old vintage bus which Father Christmas arrived on when travelling to his grotto .
Back home for lunch time and we watched a very poor game of football on TV a bit of a boring 0-0 draw between Lincoln and Charlton ; I think the weather effected the performance a bit
We are now watching Man U V Nottingham Forest more entertaining as its 1 - 1 as half time approaches .
This evening the beers are in the fridge so we will watch a film and enjoy a drink and listen to the wind and rain outside
