Home sweet home (again)

Backblipped Saturday 7th December

Slept a wee but on the flight from NY but it’s such a short journey to Rekjavik that I felt like we were barely in the air when we were coming in to land. A quick bus journey to the terminal and a walk if no more than 100 feet and we were at the gate for the Glasgow flight.

Landed in Glasgow just before 10 and by 11 we’d made it back to the car park and were about to enjoy coffee and toast in Costa.

Dozed a bit on the way through to Edinburgh, just as well I wasn’t driving! Picked up bread and milk, had a lovely hot shower thanks to Mr PHL having boosted the heating and hot water from his phone app, emptied the cases and got the washing started before we headed to Mr PHL’s art class show which was being held in a local care home. Some real talent amongst the attendees. We then collected Phin who was very pleased to see us.

We managed to stay awake until 8.30/9 when I had to go and sleep.
