The Oak Tree

… with added faffing

I caught up with my sister and arranged getting some presents to the kids in Switzerland. I’ve ordered The Oak Tree by Julia Donaldson from World of Books for Sofia but wasn’t sure about Leonardo. I was desperate for daylight (of sorts) so went for a wild wet walk via Acorn (appropriate) Bank and wondered about engaging the kids with their local trees which prompted me to take a ‘portrait’ of my local oak … a bit like the letters I used to send their mum when she was little.

Weather-wise it has been grotty but okay. The A66 was shut and I’m glad we put our walk off. 

I got back in time for the Norwich zoom meeting and then watched the end of Henry V writing out a few Christmas cards.
