Don’t think I’ve ever seen it so quiet.
It was absolutely chucking it down and the wind nearly blew me off my feet. But we needed Parmesan cheese for the dinner tonight.
So I whizzed into Sainsbury’s.
Pointless as it turns out. We had a power cut, over a very wide area apparently in East Yorkshire.
Had a message from Kev over the road "there is always the whisky and wine option"
So we abandoned the dinner and went over the road by torchlight. It was only off for a half hour, but we stayed a bit longer, just to be sociable of course!
Just a cheese on toast supper in the end.
