Cascades du Herisson

We're in the Lake District now. The French one, Region des Lacs. There's a series of waterfalls here that must be very impressive when the spring meltwater is running off the Jura mountains. We got here in the morning, it was sunny but muggy. Still pretty though.

By the afternoon a big storm broke and I'm typing this in the van as the rain falls and the thunder rumbles.

To pass the time while il pleut, Ms W and me have introduced ourselves to a bottle of Chartreuse. Not a drink I'd drunk before but apparently it's good for you, lots of herbes. I think I'll count it as one of my five a day.
