Thanks

I was very tired this morning. I’m not quite sure how I made it to the bus in time, but I did.

My day started off with the lovely news that a colleague had got engaged. He is the kind of person who puts 120% into his work, and he probably put 150% into his proposal. What a romantic!!

Today was the culmination of weeks/months of work today, and there was still alot of last minute stuff to be dealt with. I escaped for twenty minutes at lunchtime, but it was then back to a busy afternoon. At least our work seems to have landed ok.

It was raining again when I left the office tonight. Thankfully the bus was on time tonight. After tea I went for a quick walk around the block.

When I got back to my desk at lunchtime, two big bosses were hanging around which felt quite ominous. However they were dropping off chocolates for me and a colleague in recognition of what we’ve done recently. It was most unexpected, and very nice of them.
