Nitten

It's been a week since I stopped working and it feels like I haven't stopped, things happening every day. I'd been been hoping to ease into this gently but hopefully we can take this week a bit easier! So my "job" today was to take Mrs C to her old work's Xmas night out, take Arlo a walk in the wind and rain, put my feet up, then go and pick her up.... tick! Arlo and I went to Newbattle to walk and despite being there multiple times, I lost my way in the woods several times and ended up walking much further than I'd planned.

As we drove through Newtongrange much of the main street was lit up, wih maybe 4 or 5 sets of houses like this with the same lights decorating them. This surprised me because we think these houses are privately owned and to get say 25+ households to agree (and pay) to put lights up sounds complex!
