Christmas lights in our garden

Nick enjoys putting on a Christmas light display every year and constructs an elaborate spider’s web of rope to hold them in place, whatever the weather. It was a bit breezy today and our ferry wasn’t running but our weather was nowhere near as bad as that further south.
We spent a pleasant morning socialising with our niece, her husband and two lovely young boys. They are just visiting the island for a few days so we enjoyed chat, hot chocolate, mince pies and panettoni in front of the log burner.
