Women up to rain and after tea and toast drove over to A’s . We were almost there when she phoned to say the market we were going to was cancelled (no power) . We carried on anyway, dashed into her house through the pouring rain and had coffee and cake and admired the beautifully decorated house.
Came back via a couple of shops for mire tree decorations and food. I made a start on the tree augmentation when we got back whilst D made soup for lunch. After that we walked down to Summerhall Christmas market - the rain had almost stopped by then. There were some very nice things but I didn't buy anything. Came back and finish d the tree and watched Strictly and an episode of Black Doves.
