French for Fun

MrsT and L up and away super early for the Holly Jolly gymnastics competition at Hamilton.

I rarely miss a comp but as this was a ‘fun’ one and had a few tasks on I decided to miss out.

L had to stop 4 times in the car and was sick on the 4th stop. Poor kid! She finished 1st on bars and 6th overall which was a great achievement in itself. Well done kiddo!!

I did the local parkrun during to the weather plus I had to visit the bank as they’ve blocked my credit card for no (good) reason.

Afterwards, I cleaned the house and then went to pick up our 6ft Nordmann Fir Christmas tree and wreath then got all the decorations out the garage.

MrsT and L arrived home just as I was going out for the 2nd dog walk (this time dry) and on return I had a quick turnaround as had to catch a train into Edinburgh for my French class Christmas night out.

There were 17 of us and we enjoyed a set Christmas menu at Le Petit Paris then after drinks at the Apex hotel. We had to order our food in French.

This was my dessert….les griottines au kirsh.

Last train home was fun as always.
