Dual purpose cake!

It's my youngest boy's 13th Birthday today; we now have two teenagers in the house. Gulp!
We've had present opening, soggy dog walk, homemade chocolate chip waffles for brunch, a very chocolatey birthday cake and now we are just waiting for Mr Cakes to return with the Chinese Takeaway as requested by S for his birthday dinner!

This is also, amazingly, my 300th blip! Didn't think for a minute when I started blip that I would still be posting a picture every day by this stage. A wee bit addictive perhaps? Such a friendly place and I so enjoy getting an insight into lots of blippers lives. Thank you to everyone who pops by and those who take time to comment; you are a lovely lot!
