Gingerbread biscuits

My second attempt at making gingerbread biscuits.

Kate said that as nice as the first ones were they needed to be thicker and more gingery! So hopefully these will be better. I’m saving her some to take to work on Tuesday.

The biscuits didn’t last long at the party. I’m really surprised that kids actually like gingerbread. I’m not a huge fan myself, and that’s why I’ve never made them before. But they’re growing on me.

Street party was hot! But great to meet so many people living on our street. It was super to see new families too.

Oh and Jon got back from Sydney this morning. He had the best week. Really likes his new company and the team he’s working with. Quite international, so he fits right in. Looks like it’s going to be a great opportunity for him. Now he just needs to find somewhere to live!
