A rose in decline

This rose has survived all that the weather has thrown at it; it is now beginning to decline, but is still very beautiful.  Nature is quite amazing.

Having a quiet Sunday. Have a bit of a cold and not feeling great, so have stayed home today.  Apart from ironing, I haven't done very much, trying to let my body rest.

Storm Darragh has hit England and Wales hard, with thousands of people without electricity.  We have had some strong winds and some heavy rain but not much else.  I feel for the people who are suffering today.
