Change of plan

The original plan was to make a different sort of bakery, but unfortunately our local Coop was out of some of the ingredients we needed. Unfortunately, this happens with some regularity - a first-world problem to be precise. 

In the morning (more by chance) we watched a programme on French television about the opening of Notre Dame. The programme featured, among others, craftsmen who worked on the reconstruction using traditional skills. It was interesting to hear how they approached the work with a lot of pride and the time pressure they had to deal with.
