ONE TREE IS DECORATED

The wind really blew well last night, I heard it a couple of times when I was up and couldn't sleep.  About 3 am when I could still hear it I thought, well we won't be going to see Mum today, we'll go in the week.  Woke up again at 8.00 am and there was actually blue skies and although blowy it wasn't too bad.

We did, therefore, visit Mum.  My brother and his partner came round, so it was nice to catch up.  We took the family presents over to leave with Mum just in case we don't see anyone again before Christmas Day.  Picked up a few for us as well, which is lovely - now put them away until the big day itself.

On the way home we dropped a few of the family's Christmas presents over to my niece and her children.

Now I did take a couple of photos of the view across The Bay from Morecambe Prom beause the light was lovely in places.  Sadly, however, I did notice until I downloaded them that my autfocus button  had moved fractionally and therefore everythign was blurred.  Probably because I didn't get out of the car as it was way too cold and I think I have a sore throat developing, aaarrgghh.   So instead I've taken a quick shot of my little glass tree that I used to have on my desk when I was working - together with 3 little modern type santas  that I took a liking to at a craft fair a couple of Christmases ago.
