The Punch Bowl

Another fairly wet and windy day but nothing like yesterday. We had arranged to meet my Brother in law and his wife for lunch at Batsford Arboretum for a pre Christmas  lunch and present swap, but it seemed a very unsuitable place to go on such a day. There were no trees on the roads today, having all been quickly cleared up,  but plenty of broken branches and bits of wood to show where they had come down. 
We relocated our meeting to a very nice pub in Woodstock which is about an equal distance for us all, The Punchbowl. 
I forgot to take any photos so grabbed this shot of the pub in the pouring rain as we drove out of the town.
